Max+ reports its bacteria by shotgun sequencing, so some organisms are grouped differently on its report. Panel contents can change when the laboratory updates its method. The blue square marks a panel the Kids and Baby tests also report; their counts can differ.

    How do I collect the sample?
    A small stool sample, taken at home with the kit provided. Step-by-step instructions are in the box and take a few minutes to follow.
    Do I need to pause any medicines or supplements?
    Timing matters, and it depends on what you are taking. Check with your prescriber before pausing any medication.
    Who receives the results?
    Your report is sent straight to you, as the person who placed the order. We don't send it to a doctor unless you ask us to. Want help reading it? You can book a consultation with one of our doctors — it isn't included in the test price.
    Can a child be tested?
    Kits with paediatric and infant reference ranges are listed on this page. Whether testing suits your child is a question for your doctor.
    What does shipping cost?
